Criteria

1.  Points are calculated as the number of entries in an event +1 less the result in the event.

2.  Total Points is the aggregate of the Points in each event.

3.  Ranking is based on the highest to lowest Total Points.

4.  Where sailors have equal Total Points, the sailor with the better result in the HK Championships is ranked the higher.

5.  Where sailors do not reside in Hong Kong at the time of the event, their entry has been factored into the total number of entries but not included for rankings.

The spring series will be started this week at Middle Island

Race 1 & 2 on Sunday 8th Jan.

Race 3 & 4 on Sunday 15th Jan.

Please notice that the races in the races in spring series are on Sunday instead of Saturday.

With a decent wind forcast for the satruday, many sailors have chosen to sail in the Radial class. Weather reports are forcasting lighter winds on the sunday so its going to be interesting who will come out on top this year.

The September 2010 edition of LaserWorld is now available for all Sailors and National Associations to download and view online.

The World Council of the International Laser Class Association have approved seven rule changes. They are now referred to all members of the ILCA for acceptance. Votes will be accepted until 1st September 2010.

The March 2010 edition of LaserWorld is now available for all Sailors and National Associations to download and view online.

With light and variable winds ranging from 4-12 knots we would like to congratulate Sam Sakai for winning the Radial class and Nagisa Sakai for winning the 4.7 class.
